Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn is Building Mega Hostels in Chennai

Foxconn, one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers, is reportedly constructing two mega hostels in Chennai. The two hostels, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2020, will house a total of 5,000 people.

The hostels are being built to house Foxconn employees, who are currently living in rented accommodations. Foxconn is looking to provide them with better living conditions and to make their stay in Chennai more comfortable.

The two hostels are expected to have all the amenities of a modern hostel, such as a gym, a swimming pool, a cafeteria, a library, and a conference room. The hostels will also offer high-speed internet connectivity and dedicated study areas.

Foxconn is investing heavily in India, as the company has already set up several factories in the country. The two hostels are part of Foxconn’s larger plan to create a better working environment for its employees in India.
